Ramon Ponce

Director / Musician and Educator

Director of Mariachi Real De Mexico and The Mariachi Academy of New York. Mr Ponce is considered to be a role model and proud ambassador of

Mexican music in the United States.

Ramon has performed with his band Mariachi Real De Mexico at Carnegie hall, Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall, Town Hall, Kennedy Center and More.

In 2002 he founded The Mariachi Academy of New York a non-profit organization 501c3 devoted to preserve the beautiful tradition and music of mariachi in New York.
